In 1999, Jeff founded Suckerpunch as an acoustic ska/reggae solo act, but later found two goofballs, namely me (JT) and Yellow to turn it into a three piece ska/punk/reggae band. We've been playing around Florida and some of the other United States for nearly 10 years now, having added a new horn section in 2008 consisting of Dave on sax, Will on trombone and Nate on trumpet. We've been lucky enough to get into every major venue in Central Florida and play with wonderful other bands, met a ton of great people, and essentially have had the time of our lives just traveling, hanging out in strange places and making friends everywhere we go. Looking back, we've accomplished quite a bit for a band nobody thought would do much in Orlando's scene. Some might even say they were hellbent on sabotaging our chances to get out there and do something. But through good times and bad we've persevered and to this day we truly enjoy writing, recording and playing music. Plenty has changed since the early days, we've all grown up a little, priorities have changed, wives and members have come and gone... but we're still Suckerpunch.
