Skeleton Trees is a Montreal collective formed in 2007 by J. Bannon, Jean-David Brouillette and Alice Morrison. Their first release, Season of Mists, is an existential, atmospheric and melancholic piece of work inhabited by ethereal guitars, luscious violins, organ drones, hypnotic bass lines and ghostly vocals. The band is now working on it 2nd album, which will be more song-oriented and will feature a more agressive sound.
