Grand Theft Zombie (2010) is an 8bit electronic industrial noise music project based out of Denver, Colorado headed by > "VJ ZOMBIE" <Video Junkie Zombie>, Travis Burns.
Overall I do stagehand production, video editing, and live audio layering. With Grand Theft Zombie "GTZ", I utilize the mini game/audio systems which have been released over the last few years such as Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DSi, and the Korg monotron, to produce a high level of noise music from minimal audio hardware. "Rock Wave" a second member of "GTZ" and band mate from our other project "Kontrolled Demolition" help create another layer of defining audio tracking. "GTZ" has recently opened up for "Everything Goes Cold" and "Circle 6" in Denver at "Rhinoceroplis", and will be opening up at a show in "Ft. Collins", Colorado at "Hodi's Half Note this next Tuesday. The overall idea with "GTZ" is to be able to produce fun experimental electronic music with 8bit tracking fused with audio effects to produce a sound like no other.
